4D-3N Trekking Rinjani Sembalun Summit – Lake

Mount Rinjani Trekking 4 days 3 nights Summit and Lake Segara Anak starting from Sembalun to the crater rim Sembalun, summit, Lake and descend to Senaru village.

This program is suitable for beginner climbers with a good level of fitness, as well as those who want to enjoy all the natural beauty of the mountain Rinjani.

 

Itinerary 4D-3N Rinjani Summit – Lake:

Arrival day:

We’ll pick you up at the airport in Lombok or another location on Lombok Island and transfer you to the hotel in Sembalun. Meet Your trekking guide will provide guidance to better prepare you for the journey.

Day 1 Trekking: Sembalun 1150m – Crater Rim Sembalun 2639m

Early in the morning, after breakfast at the hotel at 7.30 am, walk to the Rinjani National Park office to register and begin trekking Rinjani to the crater rim of Sembalun, a normal walk that takes about 7 hours.

After two hours of trekking, arrive at Post 2 and take a break to drink tea and some biscuits, then continue to Post 3 for two hours. At Post-3, rest for 1 hour and have lunch here, then continue trekking up to the crater rim for 2.5 hours and enjoy the beautiful view when you arrive at the crater rim, dinner, and overnight here.

 

Day 2 Trekking: Crater Rim Sembalun 2639m – Summit 3726m – Lake 2000m

We wake up around 2:00 am under the cover of darkness with a hot drink and a light breakfast. We will start heading to the summit of Rinjani at 3:00 am. We start with a moderate trek, followed by a fairly easy but longer trek. The final approach involves climbing the Rinjani summit up steep volcanic scree looser.

At 6:00.am We can reach the summit (3726 m) with a beautiful sunrise, and a panoramic view of Lombok Island, the island of Bali, the island of Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake.

 

At 3 am, after drinking coffee or tea with some toast, start trekking to Mount Rinjani summit with a guide for 3 hours and enjoy the view at the summit with some fruits, biscuits, and hot coffee or tea, then trek down to the crater rim for 1.5 hours.

After a rest and a second breakfast, hike down to the lake campsite. Have lunch, enjoy hot, healing water, and stay overnight here.

 

Day 3 Trekking: Lake 2000m – Crater Rim Senaru 2641m

After lunch, we will leave the lake and go up to the Senaru crater rim (2641m). Our campsite for the night, Senaru Crater Rim, has the most spectacular view. We will enjoy an incredible sunset over Mount Agung in Bali, as well as the smoke from the new volcano on the lake’s edge.

 

Day 4 Trekking: Crater Rim Senaru 2641m – Senaru village 601m

After breakfast with a beautiful sunrise, we will leave Mount Rinjani to descend to Senaru village through the rainforest. If we are lucky, we can see the rare black monkey. It takes 5 hours, and we will take lunch along the way. When you arrive at Senaru village (601 m), the car will take you to your next destination.
